I always use associative image arrays in different formats as a language in regional documentation. Däniken is a small city focused on one of the nuclear power plants. This settlement is famous for its Gösgen nuclear power plant. I created the "Life Around You" project, being particularly influenced by the works of Douglas Huebler. 35mm and pinhole techniques were used to visualize Däniken's entropy with some film types and here with some digitals. The place is one of the best examples of human intervention in nature. How do we feel the entropy of a place?" I often asked myself these questions during my stay as a visitor in Switzerland, when I witnessed the untouched closeness of this nature. In response, I want to show how the cityscape evokes an entropic atmosphere.
But I am not interested in imagining or representing what is in the world, but in knowing what can be revealed from it as an image, which can somehow be an interpretation of the shameful richness of "nature" seen as the collective of all. The river you see donates spring water for cooling the turbines since 1979, coming from the Alpine Glaciers between Germany and Switzerland.
I had been wandering around for two years and capturing the disorder of nature's elements: winter is grey, and summer is a hint of green in grey.
