“Needled in”
The way of the blue with 1240 needles represent the social construction of myself. This is a self-portrait that I mirrored my body as a picture which is my emotional state. The three-dimensional glass-needle work has given different visual production on cyanotype emulsion coated paper under variation of day-time. I explore various shades recorded on images because of my consciousness of my private self. It is about my connection with my innermost thoughts and feelings. I hope the viewers allow for Narcissism or exhibitionism, which is perhaps like to occur when I deepen my self-knowledge by expressing some psychological truth.
