The COVID-19 pandemic has upended all cities around the world. Downtowns have become ghost towns thanks to new work-from-anywhere policies. Food delivery and e-commerce are booming (though supply chains are being pushed to the max). Now that their residents no longer need to commute to work or to the mall, how are cities reinventing themselves? Some have taken this opportunity to close streets to car traffic in favor of outdoor dining, recreation, and retail. Government is using this quietness bringing to front all postponed maintenance or construction plans. What cities of the future will look like, really don’t know - but, the people engage more than ever with nature with surrounding forests. Looking deep through the nature is the subject in my photos.
Far from being ostracized, the spring will be celebrated, and the nature that I shared will inspire you, as it has me. Never forgetting the reality: more than a third of native animals and plants rely on the forest for survival.
Let’s look deep into the forest.
